MYKITA is exclusive eyewear manufactured in Berlin Germany since 2003 and branded for the high end segment of the opical market.

Kita is a reference to the original workshop location in what use to be a day nursery.  It is appropriate because it is with the same optimism and meticulous care that the company was nurtured and developed to its present established status.

MYKITA has become a major player in the high end optical market because of patented hinge concepts, clear design signature and excellent product quality.

In 2010 the company pioneered and patented the frame material MYLON as well as developed and patented its surface treatment.

The treatment is a technique known as Selective Laser Sintering.  The method allows for the manufacturing of never before seen modern frame materials without the use of common mold injection tools.

EYETAILOR, our sister retail location, a showroom dedicated to current and modern eyewear design, ranging from design philosophies on the spectrum of heavily ornate to realized minimalism, is exhibiting the exceptional collection of MYKITA EYEWEAR  during  a one day only trunk show on December 3rd from 11 - 6 pm.
