Jeff Solorio and John Juniper of Dita Eyewear are celebrated for their innovative designs.  Life long friends who share a passion, they have found inspiration through their collaboration not only on film but in creating eyewear.




The co-founding duo share an extraordinary talent for design.   Planned efforts focused their  common passion on creating their first collection in the mid 90's.  They introduced eyewear manufactured with latest and best modern technologies but inspired by vintage eyewear designs with regards to the frames of the 50's through the 80's.  Dita is unique and sets itself apart by its use of modern materials and designs which distinguish the brand with quality.

 The co-founders imagined an alternative to the top fashion houses of the day.  Jeff and John wanted to give the discerning buyer another option alternative to label brands.  The styling of Dita labeling on all their exquisite eyewear styles were kept intentionally subtle.  The design duo wanted to, "allow the design of the frame to complement features of the wearer and contribute        to their overall style."


Dita has established their design studio and world headquarters here in our beautiful city of Los Angeles, California.  In the early 2000's designer and creative director Tommy O'gara joined Dita and they grew to expand in the asian market.  The team opened a logistics center outside of Tokyo to concentrate on focusing tuning their production standards to unparalleled levels of  quality and craftsmanship.
